Designing with TI and the New BeagleBone AI 64

Creating a new hardware design from scratch is a time-consuming and challenging process. Fortunately, there are a number of platforms and reference designs available to help designers get a "head start" on the design and leveraging existing known good IP to speed up development and reduce risk.

This session will show how designers can leverage one of the most popular open source projects, BeagleBoard, to help them accelerate their designs and incorporate, and validate this existing IP into your designs effectively.

What You Will Learn:

  • Overview of BeagleBoard project and why it is a great choice to accelerate commercial hardware design
  • How to get access to open-source designs in your CAD format
  • How to review an existing design to understand its function
  • How to evaluate a design for supply chain readiness and update accordingly
  • How to re-use portions of the design for your own projects effectively
  • How to validate design functionality with simulation before you go to prototype
  • How to contribute to open-source projects and the community
  • What's new from BeagleBoard
